Technology grants for charities

Charities are being offered the chance to win £2,000 for producing 'innovative project ideas' that make use of technology to help develop their work.

Telecoms company TalkTalk will be awarding grants to 30 projects and the winning charities will receive equipment that will help them make the best use of the internet.

John Fisher, chief executive of Citizens Online, said: 'These awards provide an excellent opportunity to deliver projects that can inspire individuals to start their own digital journeys.'

The overall winners can look forward to an individual workshop with co-founder of lastminute.com, Martha Lane Fox.
