Provost launches website to boost charity fundraising for Combat Stress08/03/10 Written by Isabel Griffith. A new website could improve the charity fundraising efforts of an organisation that supports traumatised British veterans. Provost has launched the site in order to keep its supporters updated about how the money it raises is being invested in different projects, such as Combat Stress, the Cumnock Chronicle reports. It features a button that allows visitors to donate to the charity, while it also boasts a totaliser that gives a graphical representation of how close to its target of £25,000 Provost is. The organisation hopes to boost its charity fundraising through the website so it can build a new psychologist's support centre at its Hollybush House facility. Supporter Stephanie Young said: 'This website is a good way of giving people the latest information about what we're doing to raise money for this important charity. People can check the website regularly and see the current running total.' Ms Young added that the organisation will also use the new website to publicise the events it hosts over the coming months. There are currently 4,200 ex-service men and women in the care of Combat Stress. This news item is © CTT Copyright
