Fiona Phillips, Mirror columnist and host of GMTV, joined forces with Linda Robson, star of Birds of a Feather, to play bingo online for the charity Children with Leukaemia. The pair helped to raise over £13,000 and got to chat with regular bingo players whilst they boosted donations for the charity. Linda said: 'I hadn't realised it was so easy to sit in your own home and meet lovely people while playing bingo.' All of the Mirror Bingo's online profits for the day were donated to the charity, along with contributions from Trinity Mirror and Foxy Bingo owners, Cashcade Ltd. Children with Leukemia are the UK's leading charity exclusively dedicated to fighting the UK's biggest childhood cancer. Ant and Dec have just headed up an appeal to sponsor a child to attend the charity's 21st great children's party which took place yesterday (June 2nd).
