Professionalfundrasing.co.uk reported that the change will allow the company to remain competitive and be seen as an attractive proposition to investors. Polly Gowers, everyclick's founder, told Charity News Alert: When we launched everyclick we thought that all we'd ever be would be a search engine that raised money for charity. 'This has worked well but we now want to launch new services - services where we charge people a fee. This is a very competitive environment and we couldn't be competitive under the previous objects [of the company].' Whilst any revenue generated from new services would go to the company, Ms Gowers confirmed that 50 per cent of all search and advertising revenue would still go to charity.
