Charity partners with company to raise £1 million

A partnership has been launched between two organisations to help raise £1 million for Sue Ryder Care, thirdsector.co.uk reported.

The fundraising campaign between the charity and Gala Coral Group will involve various events including the Sue Ryder Care Cup golf tournament.

Bridget Auger, business development manager at Sue Ryder Care, said: 'We're excited about the potential of the link-up with Gala Coral because of the reach of its retail network and the dedication of its employees.'

Sue Ryder Care provide compassionate support for people living with serious conditions and hope the campaign will allow them to increase their hours of care to ten million a year.
