Art charity wins 'Best Use of Direct Mail' award

An independent art charity has been awarded with the Best Use of Direct Mail honour for its Save the Blue Rigi campaign.

The Institute of Fundraising National Awards had recognised the charity's ability to raise £400,000 in just five weeks by adopting various marketing tactics.

Having secured £4.8 million in funding, the charity approached their supporters via an integrated campaign and were successful in doubling their target.

Other charities were recognised for their use of door drop, face-to-face and telephone fundraising campaigns.

Best Use of E-Media went to the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), Precicion Marketing reported.
