See the Difference could boost third sector campaigning02/02/10 Written by Isabel Griffith. A new website that hopes to boost charity campaigning through the use of technology is set to launch next month, it has been reported. Third Sector magazine reveals that See the Difference, a website that will allow organisations to upload and share campaign videos, is set to go live on March 23rd following an in-depth design stage. Its founders hope that the site could become the standard for sharing third sector videos online, which could then be posted on social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter. See the Difference hopes to boost charity fundraising by £500 million in its first five years of operation. Dominic Vallely, one of the founders of the website, told Third Sector: 'When fundraisers stop people in the street, they are interrupting their plans. 'But if friends share videos about the projects they have supported, it is fitting in with what people are already doing.' See the Difference will charge a five per cent commission on donations made through the site. The company is already using social networking website Twitter to boost its charity campaigning and online presence.
