Hospice to launch virtual tour to boost charity campaigning15/09/09 Written by Matthew Carter. A non-profit organisation is set to harness the power of the internet to improve its charity campaigning. Chase hospice care for children will launch a new online tour on its website that allows visitors to virtually explore the facility and discover more about the services it offers on September 21st. Users can zoom in and out and rotate their view 360 degrees, navigating to different rooms to learn about the hospice's operations. Juilette Gillard of Chase told 4rfv: 'The aim of the tour is to let families explore our children's hospice from the security of their own home, so they can discover that it's really a friendly, homely place where they can benefit from a well-earned rest and enjoy some quality time. 'The focus is on enjoying every day and creating the very best memories for the future.' Each of the facility's 17 rooms features a short introductory video, narrated by Spooks actress Keeley Hawes. The charity hopes the virtual tour will boost its campaigning ahead of Children's Hospice Week, which begins on Monday (September 21st), the website reports. This news item is © CTT Copyright
