Donated Products for charitiesCTT understands how hard it can be for charities with limited resources to afford the IT products that could significantly improve their effectiveness and efficiency. With a view to this, it has set up the CTX Programme, in partnership with the non-profit technology capacity building organisation, TechSoup™. This programme distributes software and hardware to UK charities from various leading corporate technology donors, including Microsoft, Cisco and Symantec. The types of products available are:
CTT and TechSoup™ are working on expanding the CTX Programme to include donations from other leading corporate technology donors. To participate in the CTX Programme, organisations are required to meet specific eligibility criteria. They are also asked to pay a small administrative fee to cover the costs of the programme. The administrative fees do vary but charities will still make savings of between 92-96% on typical retail prices. Further information is available on the CTXchange website. |
