They provide a home, education and future for almost 1000 children, and reach out to thousands more through health and nutrition projects. About The Email Newsletter In December, Pattaya Orphanage was given a month’s notice by their email marketing provider that their email marketing tool was being withdrawn from the market. CTT was asked to step in to produce a replacement email newsletter. What CTT Did Within two hours, CTT:
Pattaya staff were then trained to manage their own email newsletters. The Impact Of The Campaign When the Asian Tsunami hit in December 2004, Thailand was one of the countries affected. Pattaya wanted to reassure their supporters that the orphanage had not been affected by the tsunami and that all the children and staff of the Father Ray Foundation were safe and well. An email to all their supporters was sent within two hours of CTT receiving the text. The email included an appeal on behalf of Thai tsunami victims, an appeal which also appeared on the website, raising (so far) about £30,000 for no significant cost.
