Announcing new CTX partners

We're delighted to announce that the CTX programme is being extended to included two new donor partners. From the end of March, in conjunction with US NGO TechSoup, we shall be adding a range of software from Symantec's International Desktop Programme. The CTX catalogue is also being expanded to include donated security software from Winfrasoft. More dates for CTT’s Payments Seminar

Over 100 charities have so far signed up to attend CTT’s Payments Seminars in March and May. The half day seminar for finance directors and managers, held in conjunction with CFDG and Nat West, will cover all aspects of processing payments with credit cards and direct debits and will explain the rules and regulations and future industry developments.
Unfortunately, the March event is now fully subscribed but there are still a few places left for the May seminar which will take place at 1 London Bridge on May 8th 2007. To register your interest, click here

CTT launches payment terminal for charity shops

CTT has extended its ‘CP Terminal’ card payment processing service for charities to retail shops. CTT is offering a completely rental free payment solution for charities. The offer has been developed in partnership with Alphyra , Europe’s largest independent payment network provider and owner of Payzone™. Sound Delivery workshops

Sounddelivery’s podcasting workshops at London Bridge are proving to very popular with a wide range of non-profit organisations. The courses offer practical training in the skills you need to collect stories, case studies and other audio material to get your message across. You can get hands-on experience of digital recording, simple editing, creating MP3 files, uploading audio to a website and setting up a regular podcast. CITRA hosts Open Source debate

CITRA, The Charity IT Resource Alliance will hold its second member meeting on the 18th April and the topic (chosen by poll on the CITRA website) will be a debate, led by guest speakers, on Open Source. The meeting will be held at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, 12 Great George Street, London SW1 3AD (nearest tube Westminster) and will start at 3-30 (refreshments and registration from 3pm) and will aim to close at 5pm when there will be an opportunity to network over a glass of wine.
