CTT launches CTXchange technology donations programme

On 1 July 2006, we launched our new CTXchange initiative. Through this programme, we are distributing donated Microsoft software and Cisco hardware to the UK charity sector. The new initiative could benefit over 1000 UK charities in the first year alone.  For more information about the programme, click here.

CTT welcomes record number of new charity clients

The last few months have seen CTT’s client base rise to record levels. We are now working with over 160 charities and recent new business has come from a range of organisations, including Action Against Hunger, International Care & Relief, Practical Action, formerly ITDG and St John’s Ambulance.

Our consulting work continues to save charities tens of thousand of pounds per annum of unnecessary expenditure. Current projects include an ecommerce web build for Charities Buying Group (CBG), e-fundraising strategy development for Practical Action, IT and web reviews for Somerset House Trust and Society of Chemical Industry (SOCI) and database development for Broadway homeless charity.

We have recently launched a huge global e-campaign for WSPA (www.animalsmatter.org), who are hoping to achieve 10 MILLION signatures in support of a UN declaration of animal Welfare. CTT project managed the complete website build in 6 languages and co-ordinated the project development which culminated in sending a CD to 663 member societies globally with 18 pieces of printable material, again in 6 languages. The microsite was developed by Ellipsis Media using their Dot-Editor and FormBuilder tools. CTT is managing email updates, search engine and guerilla marketing campaigns as well as ongoing project management and WSPA has now joined the CTT M@il family.

CTT launches Multi-Currency payments system

We are in the process of completing an enhancement to our card processing systems to enable the capture of both Euro and Dollar transactions. The capability to offer multi-currency transactions is another example of our commitment to respond to the feedback from our clients. If you are interested in finding out more about our multi-currency development, please register your interest here

Using SMS for regular donations

Did you know that CTT’s SMS service allows charities to promote regular giving by SMS? In addition to ‘one off’ donations, charities can promote weekly, fortnightly and monthly collections via SMS, a feature that is now being used successfully by a number of our clients. There is no additional charge for use of this feature which is included as part of our standard set up fee. For more information about this feature or if you have a general enquiry about our SMS service, click here

CITRA Questionaire

Professional Development for IT Staff
CITRA, the Charities IT Resource Alliance of which CTT is a founder member, is currently undertaking a survey to investigate the need for a professional IT Association in the sector. We would be grateful for your input and ask you to complete a very short questionnaire. More details click here.

Best wishes
